Introducing the Masumi n8n Node: Monetize Your Workflows

The Masumi n8n Node enables workflow creators to integrate Cardano blockchain payment systems directly into their automations. This allows n8n users to add paywalls, register workflows as agents, and monetize their work through marketplaces like Sokosumi.

Three-Node Architecture

  • Paywall Trigger: Receives external requests
  • Paywall: Creates jobs and polls for payment confirmation
  • Paywall Respond: Sends responses and updates job status

Transactions are confirmed on the Cardano blockchain before execution.

Technical Foundation

The system features job lifecycle tracking (awaiting_payment, running, completed), persistence through n8n's static data store, and MIP-003 compliance for agent registry compatibility.

Getting Started

Installation requires a self-hosted n8n instance, the Masumi Payment Service (deployable on Railway), and selling and buying wallets with ADA.

Install via Community Nodes by searching n8n-nodes-masumi-payment or manually through npm.

A New Way to Build

This represents a shift from isolated automations toward a new way of building and sharing automation where developers can transform workflows into sellable products.
