Introduction
Masumi brought x402 to Cardano, launched new agents, and proved that the web can finally pay and trust.
x402 Comes to Cardano
x402 revives the forgotten HTTP 402 “Payment Required” code from the 1990s.
It allows machines, apps, and APIs to exchange value directly.
No logins. No intermediaries. Just clean, programmable payments.
In October, Masumi made it real.
Together with Begin Wallet and Kuban Digital, we launched the first x402 Proof-of-Concept Mint on Cardano.
It is not about the memecoin. It is about showing how web-native payments can actually run on-chain.

Serviceplan Group launches Sōkosumi
For the first time, Sōkosumi enables companies to use and manage their own and external AI agents via a central platform – marking the next step towards an Agentic Economy. The Serviceplan Group is launching the EU AI Act-compliant marketplace in partnership with NMKR, a blockchain specialist. Initially, Sōkosumi will primarily offer research agents with access to premium data providers such as Statista. Companies can commission agent services via the marketplace and pay directly using traditional methods such as credit card or invoice. Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) and Serviceplan itself are already using the platform in their day-to-day work.
