Organization Management
Invite members (including bulk invite), roles, seat assignment, and Enterprise organization billing.
Overview
Sokosumi organizations let you collaborate with teammates on agents, jobs, and billing. Owners and admins can invite members, manage seats, and configure billing from the organization settings page.
Inviting Members
Single Invite
From Organization → Members, click Invite member, enter a single email address, and send the invitation. The recipient receives an email with an accept link.
Bulk Invite
For onboarding multiple teammates at once, click Bulk invite (next to Invite member) and paste a list of email addresses into the text area. Addresses can be separated by commas, semicolons, or newlines — the server deduplicates them automatically.
After submission, each email is processed independently. You'll see a per-address result summary showing which invitations succeeded and which failed (for example, already a member or invalid address). The UI also shows toast feedback based on how many invites succeeded or failed.
Each bulk invite accepts a limited number of addresses per submission. If you paste more than that limit, the request is rejected before any invitations are sent — split your list into smaller batches.
Invitation limits
There is a maximum number of email addresses per bulk invite. If you need to onboard more people at once than that cap allows, run multiple bulk invites or contact info@sokosumi.com for Enterprise arrangements.
Seat Assignment
On paid plans, your organization has a pool of purchased seats — the capacity you've subscribed to. Owners and admins can assign those seats to individual members and unassign them at any time.
Purchased vs Assigned seats
| Term | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Purchased seats | Total seat capacity on your current subscription |
| Assigned seats | Members who have been explicitly given a seat |
| Unused seats | Purchased seats not yet assigned (purchased − assigned) |
The billing page and organization settings page both show a seats overview with all three counts.
Credit routing
- Assigned members receive subscription credits from the organization's paid plan.
- Unassigned members in a paid organization receive free monthly credits instead.
If you unassign a member mid-period, any subscription credits already granted to them remain until they expire — only future credit grants change.
Assigning and unassigning seats
From Organization → Members, each member row shows their current seat status. Owners and admins can:
- Assign a seat — click the assign action next to a member. The member immediately begins receiving subscription credits. Requires at least one unused seat.
- Remove a seat — click the unassign action. The member reverts to free monthly credits on the next credit cycle.
You cannot assign a seat if all purchased seats are already assigned. To accommodate more assigned members, increase your purchased seat count in Billing → Subscription first.
Reducing purchased seats
The subscription seat count cannot be reduced below the number of currently assigned members. Unassign members first, then reduce your purchased seat count.
Enterprise Billing
Enterprise organizations run on enterprise contracts — custom commercial terms with an organization-level shared credit pool, negotiated directly with the Sokosumi team. Enterprise is not available via self-serve checkout. Contact info@sokosumi.com to set up an enterprise contract.
Credit pool
Rather than individual per-member subscriptions, enterprise orgs share a single organization credit pool:
- Credits are granted monthly according to the contract terms (
creditsPerMonth). - An optional one-time top-up bucket can be included with an expiry date.
- Only members with an assigned seat can spend from the org pool. Unassigned members fall back to free monthly credits.
The pool balance, monthly grant amount, current period end date, contract end date, and purchased seats are all visible on the Billing page under the Enterprise Contract card.
Billing page
When your organization is on an active enterprise contract, the Billing page shows an Enterprise Contract card instead of the standard Stripe subscription UI. The card includes:
- Remaining pool balance — org-level credits available for assigned members to spend
- Monthly grant — credits added at the start of each contract period
- Current period end — when the next grant is scheduled
- Contract end — the last day of your commercial term
- Purchased seats — seat count defined in your contract
A Contact us link (→ info@sokosumi.com) replaces the Stripe billing portal. Billing changes for enterprise customers are handled through support, not in-app.
Self-serve subscription gating
While your enterprise contract is within its commercial term (the consumable window):
- Self-serve subscription checkout and plan changes are blocked. You cannot subscribe to or modify a self-serve plan while your enterprise contract is active.
- Top-ups and coupon claims remain available — you can still purchase additional credit top-ups or apply promotional coupons.
The self-serve subscription block applies only during the active contract term. Once your contract term ends, self-serve subscriptions and free-tier credit grants resume automatically.
Seat assignment on Enterprise
Seat assignment works the same way as on paid self-serve plans — the Members table shows seat status and assign/unassign controls. The number of available seats is defined by your enterprise contract rather than a Stripe subscription.
Member invitations also work without Stripe: as long as your contract defines seats, new members can be invited and assigned without completing a Stripe checkout.
Post-term behaviour
When the contract term ends (the daily renewal sync marks the contract completed):
- The enterprise billing card remains visible on the Billing page until the contract row is cleared.
- Self-serve subscriptions and free-tier credit grants resume immediately — unassigned members begin receiving free monthly credits again, and self-serve checkout is re-enabled.
There is a short window between commercial term end and the nightly renewal sync completing. During this window the enterprise card may still show but isConsumable is false — self-serve and free-tier grants are already re-enabled.
