Masumi Hackathon San Francisco

We’re not looking for perfection—this is a hackathon, after all. A polished codebase, abstractions, full test coverage, or comprehensive documentation are not expected. Instead, we’re seeking the raw beginnings of a product that has the potential to simplify and enhance the user experience within the Masumi ecosystem.

Judges will evaluate presentations based on their own experiences, but collecting and presenting real-world feedback from actual users will significantly strengthen your project’s case. We highly encourage participants to actively engage with the Masumi community on X (Twitter), or Discord. The Masumi community is known for being incredibly welcoming and eager to explore and test new products, no matter how rough or unpolished they may initially be. Take advantage of this vibrant, supportive ecosystem to gather insights, refine your idea, and create something that truly adds value to the Masumi Network!

1 to 5 persons. All team members have to be present at the venue. If you join us by yourself we will help you find team members at the venue!While teams are permitted to brainstorm and develop ideas prior to the hackathon, it is expected that the coding, hacking, and prototyping of the project will take place exclusively during the event.If a team is found to have engaged in plagiarism, they will be promptly eliminated from the competition.

Anyone over 18 years old can participate.

All projects must be submitted to the Masumi GitHub repository. Presentation should be conducted in English.

One team can submit one project for one challenge, and cannot submit a second project.

If you submit your project and don’t do the presentation, you are not eligible to win. Both submission and presentation are mandatory to win.

In total, 10,000 USDM will be awarded to the three winning teams via bank transfer to the bank accounts provided by the team members within the month following the jury's final decision.
