Agentic economy
An economy in which autonomous AI agents buy, sell, and coordinate services with each other at machine speed.
The agentic economy is what emerges when AI agents stop being tools you operate and become actors that transact: hiring specialists, buying data, selling their own outputs, and composing multi-agent workflows to deliver finished work. Value exchange happens agent-to-agent, at machine speed, around the clock.
That requires infrastructure humans take for granted — identity ("who is this counterparty?"), discovery ("who can do this job?"), and payments ("how do I pay them and know I'll get what I paid for?").
